Working to protect public lands and wildlife since 1967

Doing It Right

For the Wyoming Outdoor Council, balance means developing our energy resources at the right pace and in the right place. Where development does occur, it should be handled with the highest possible sensitivity for wildlife, air and water quality, and human health. Our public lands program focuses on energy development on lands managed by the Bureau of Land Management and the U.S. Forest Service. We work to ensure that plans and projects for these areas are as protective as possible.
